This place serves breakfast all day and features other tasty menu items such as health bowls, salads, sandwiches, and pastries. Gotan also has plenty of outlets and reliable WiFi. Daughter - Brooklyn

Daughter serves coffee by day and wine by night (relatable). And if you’re looking to support a business that gives back to the community, Daughter donates 10% of their monthly profits to causes that they’re passionate about – like Heart of Dinner. Daughter has 2 locations in Brooklyn where you can work in the mornings, and sip wine on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 4-11 pm. This place has a cool aesthetic to it and we highly recommend you visit! 

Buunni Coffee - Northern Manhattan

With locations 3 locations in Northern Manhattan, Buunni Coffee is a great space to get work done. The Inwood location was recently renovated with long wooden tables and lots of natural light. So, if that’s your vibe come in and support this Ethiopian coffee shop. All coffee brewed here is sourced from smallholder farms and farmers’ cooperatives. This cafe has a 1-hour WiFi time limit but is an awesome place to visit for a productive power hour.

Milk & Pull - Brooklyn

Sometimes all you need is a really good specialty sandwich, and Milk & Pull makes some tasty ones! Their menu also features several vegetarian options as well as a pastry selection. With 2 locations in Brooklyn and one in Ridgewood, Milk & Pull provides cool working spaces, reliable WiFi, and great coffee.

The Chipped Cup - Harlem

This Harlem coffee shop offers both a “Victorian psychedelic” interior and an enchanted outdoor garden…the best of both worlds! Take a trip here on a nice day to enjoy the garden while sipping on an Americano and finishing up some work. They also offer a brief menu with items such as a bagel and lox and overnight oats that ends at 2 pm daily. Stay and work on their free WiFi for up to 6 hours!

Devoción Coffee - Brooklyn

With 5 Locations total, 3 in Brooklyn and 2 in Manhattan, Devoción must be doing something right! This coffee shop offers free WiFi during the week and lots of outlets. With a lovely ambiance, you can have a very productive afternoon here filled with fresh Colombian coffee. Fun fact: Devoción Coffee is the only company in the world that roasts true farm-fresh coffee only 10 days after leaving its origin. Drink fresh!

Joe Coffee

With 21 different locations in NYC, you can find a cup of Joe near you! All 21 locations offer free WiFi so if you’re looking to be productive this might just be the place. Joe Coffee offers a variety of different menu items – their Brooklyn Heights location even serves ice cream! Check out their original location in the West Village which opened in 2003.

Ground Central Coffee

If you enjoy more of a soft grunge aesthetic coffee shop, try out Ground Central Coffee. They have 8 different locations in the city to choose from with Wifi. Ground Central Coffee is a one-of-a-kind, independent coffee shop. If you don’t mind background sound they play really good music at their shops that are curated by their partner, the independent record label Dala Records.

Sweetleaf Coffee Roasters - Queens

Sweetleaf Coffee Roasters has 4 locations and is known for its cool baristas. These locations have plenty of space to work in and free WiFi. To keep it real with you, these coffee shops are a vibe and play good music, relatively loudly. The Sweetleaf Queens location has a “laptop room” and a “record room” to maintain separate volume levels. We highly recommend this spot!  

Hungry Ghost Coffee - Brooklyn

Hungry Ghost Coffee started in Brooklyn in 2012 and today there are 13 locations throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan. All 13 stores serve Stumptown Coffee, roasted in Red Hook in an exclusive partnership with Hungry Ghost. The food menu is also rooted in local flavors and the locations are typically quiet. The Bean

The Bean was born in the East Village in 2003 and now has 3 locations. They had to give up their original location to a Starbucks so please, think of them before choosing to support a massive chain. They offer speedy WiFi with your purchase and a comfortable atmosphere. The Bean is arguably most known for its Mona Lisa drink, a blended masterpiece of espresso, ice, and milk. We would all get a little more work done with a Mona Lisa in hand.

Partners Coffee

Since 2012, Partners Coffee has joined with farmers, producers, baristas, roasters, businesses, and customers to create amazing coffee and culture. Partners Coffee has 5 New York locations, but their Long Island City location, in particular, has a beautiful courtyard where WiFi reaches.
