“Toast processing fee” means the fixed percentage and a per-transaction fee in addition to your interchange fees stated in your Order Form. You will still be responsible for the respective interchange, network fees and certain other fees for all lower card-not-present (CNP) transactions. A CNP processing rate can provide ongoing savings for your restaurant and applies to all keyed transactions (such as phone orders) and digital Toast solutions, including Online Ordering, Toast TakeOut, Toast Mobile Order & Pay™, and more.

The guest-facing fee by default will be paid by the person who placed the order through Toast Online Ordering (not including Toast TakeOut) as part of their total ticket price.
