On January 1, the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) went into effect, which provides California residents with rights to control their personal information and obligations on those who process that information.
While the CCPA will not affect all restaurants, the Toast Privacy Office has developed guidance notes to enable Toast customers to determine if they are impacted and to provide support on compliance.
